If trying to maintain balance in your life makes you feel like a tightrope walker, you’re not alone. Most of us have so many demands on our time and energy, life can feel like a three-ring circus. We often don’t give ourselves permission to slow down and renew. Even if you are engaged with meaningful work and activities, most people focus more on the “to do” list than on living in a way that allows us to really enjoy life, thrive and come from inspiration. Take this quiz to see how well you are meeting responsibilities, while also recognizing and fulfilling personal needs, wants and a joyful life.

If you answered false more often than true, you may want to take a look at the questions to which you answered false and see if you can incorporate something of its message into your life. Life balance is really more about managing your energy than it is about managing time. Please don’t hesitate to call if you’d like to explore this issue further.
Estra,
Very fine quiz as a check on your life balance. I enjoyed taking it and reflecting on my responses. I also liked your observation that life balance is more about energy than about time. MB
Thanks for your comments, Mary Beth! Glad you liked the quiz. Yes, it is all about energy. Some people think balance means giving equal amounts of time to everything in your life. Balance is really about checking in with yourself and doing what feels inspired and good in the moment–and loving yourself enough to pay attention to the signals you are getting!
