Wallace Watles, in his book, the Science of Getting Rich, states, “Give everyone more in use value than you take from him in cash value. Then you are adding to the life of the world by every business transaction.”
Mr.Wattles was talking about a spirit of giving, of understanding that each person’s success adds to every other person’s success. There is no need to “drive sharp bargains” or deal with people unfairly. When we see the success of another and feel thrilled for them, we have truly come into our own alignment and understanding of the connection we all share. When someone is successful in their endeavors, it sends out an energy that literally circulates the earth and is available for anyone to tap into. Mr. Wattles, among many other teachers, tells us that the supply is not limited. there is more than enough for all and when we act in a spirit of cooperation and collaboration, rather than competition, everyone benefits.
More and more, businesses are coming to understand this. It is a process of change that takes time, but it is happening.
